What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy – the energy that is all around us. The Usui system of Natural Healing is named after its Japanese founder, Mikao Usui. Reiki is usually experienced through treatments, with the practitioner channelling this universal energy into different parts of our being. Reiki is beneficial to all and is also easily learnt through a short course or more in depth degree courses.
No special skills are required, it is natural, non-intrusive, and anyone can learn. Reiki can reset and align the emotions, mind, body, spirit and promotes general well-being. By vibrating the energy into the body we activate our natural healing ability, which in turn increases our inner will power and growth
At the level where Reiki flows anything can be changed. The best way to know Reiki is to experience it.

Baby Reiki & Sound Sessions
In the womb vibrations and sound are what our babies feel the most. They can also feel our intention, discern frequency and pick up on pretty much everything going on around them. In our Baby Reiki and Sound sessions, the vibration of universal energy, chanting and sound instruments will provide a soothing effect and connect baby and parent to the earth.
Om/Aum is said to be the sound of the first echo when the universe sparked into existence. When we chant mantra to our babies with presence and intention, they feel and relax into the energy. Baby reiki and sound amplifies the intensity of healing as we charge the vicinity of the room as one, with Becky acting as a channel and guide to enhance your experience.
Becky will guide mums through reiki hand positions on their babies allowing the energy to travel from the universe through the teacher to the parents and babies to harmonise the flow of prana.

As we share this gift from humanity with like minded individuals conversations and connections naturally flow to where your reiki journey is heading. A fantastic place to network and share ideas and knowledge these reiki exchanges provide space for everyone to explore and connect without judgement or expectation.
Reiki Treatments
Channeling energy into the body through touch, we activate our natural healing abilities which in turn increases our inner strength and growth. Reiki treatments are a powerful system of healing for restoring and naturally balancing energies within the individual. They are perfectly safe and are undertaken fully clothed, with blankets and cushions to provide extra comfort.
Reiki works at an extremely high vibration and as you receive this energy it has the power to cleanse your auric fields, moving denser energy clearing blockages out of your system and “lighting” you up. In this treatment you will be lay on a bed for just over an hour whilst the universal energy is focused into different areas of the body. The total treatment takes approx. 1.5 hours including consultation.

Masters

This is a very unique form of Reiki training looking at different ways of using energy and in-depth teachings about chakras, energy fields, numeracy, readings, meditation and other associated topics. These bespoke sessions and pathways will vary depending on personal need and experience.
Often involving group and individual work this course will develop your meditation skills to help release emotional and mental trauma and prepare you to undertake the masters energy attunement. You will also delve into aspects of your past and discover the very essence of your very own life purpose.
Featuring deep meditation, analytical study and breathing exercises this course is an amazing opportunity to explore in greater depth aspects of advanced Reiki classes from an individual perspective.
My Reiki Journey
Becky's Story
I am delighted to be able to offer reiki healing and training. My background is in dance and arts which led me to reiki; it was no mistake the day the magic of reiki fell in-front of me. I was working as promotional staff for a mind body event at the G-mex, however I wasn’t aware the energy surrounding me would give me the opportunity to change my life forever.
A reiki master came to the stall where I was advertising angel card readings under the assumption I was more aware of this energetic presence, but I was actually here following my fast paced lifestyle of promotional work.
I had a hectic life fueled by a tremendous amount of lucozade and red bull. I literally didn’t stop to think, rest or reset and the universe was ready to hit me hard with my lesson to STOP. This began with a broken foot; my mind instantly went to the reiki healer who I met at the mind body event so I quickly scheduled a reiki session (in my usual rush rush style), my exact words were “this will fix my foot so I can perform at the weekend”. Little did I know this would open the door to help me press the brake pedal, and heal.
This one treatment opened my eyes to reiki training. This at times was a love hate relationship, as reiki was here for my highest good, which was to slow down for my health and well being. As many times I would speed up, the universe would provide me with a sign to slow down, from an injury, to a broken car and even a leaking roof. I understand this may not be selling reiki to you right now ;) but this was the start of my path to health and self discovery and I thank reiki every single day for the person I have become. Reiki also led me to train as a yoga teacher something I could not have done without the guidance of the universal energy.
But my story doesn't end there! Teaching reiki didn’t necessarily mean all was healed and I was now a beacon of abundance love and light every day. Instead some trials and traumas along the journey continued to give me more insight than I could ever imagine into the vibration of reiki and myself as a person. No matter what came my way I now had tools at my fingertips to help guide me in ways that have ultimately saved my life. The quality of my life as a result, and the healing that has taken place, is something I am deeply grateful for.
Every situation became a further understanding of empathy towards my clients as we are all interconnected, and each slice of trauma developed my knowledge and understanding of how to help others.
Accreditation & Lineage
Becky has a amassed a wealth of experience and training since first discovering reiki energy in 2010. Over the years Becky has developed her theoretical and practical insight under the guidance of her Reiki teacher Leza McLean of the Reiki Network Oldham, and is accredited to teach Reiki up to Masters level and beyond.
